Bernard’s is now a full distributor of the new Medeco® M3 High-Security Lock System. M3 is a UL Listed patented locking system better than the Biaxial system which it replaces. We also offer the less expensive KeyMark cylinder and keys for places that only need key control.

Maxum Deadbolts

The Maxum deadbolt was designed to withstand the toughest attacks. With an ANSI grade 1 rating, the Maxum incorporates a high-security strike plate with 2″ screws that anchor the strike directly to the building structure behind the frame. It also features a hardened steel bolt and bolt throwing mechanism, surrounded by a heavy-gauge tubular steel housing for maximum resistance to attack.

The Maxum incorporates the patented bi-axial, double-locking principle for resistance to picking and has strategically placed hardened steel inserts to reduce the risk of drilling attack. The Maxum is available in single cylinder, double cylinder, and a unique child-safe design featuring a removable thumb-turn key.

Embassy Locksets

The Medeco® Embassy line of cylindrical locksets feature ANSI Grade 1 and 2 knob and lever sets. The lever sets feature a clutching action handle to defend against wrenching attacks. The Grade 1 (19 and 25 series product) are UL listed for use on fire doors with a 3-hour rating.

All Embassy locksets feature high-quality construction and flexible product design that accepts IC core and key-in-knob cylinders in all popular functions and finishes. The Medeco® Embassy locksets come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Medeco® High-Security Interchangeable Core Cylinders

The Medeco® High-Security interchangeable core cylinder enables non-technical personnel to quickly rekey a lock with the use of a special key. This quick change saves expense and affords greater overall security. Key control, vital to a business with a high employee turnover rate, can easily be maintained without having to rekey or change door hardware.
